One of us will get the axe!!

It feels like it's been a while since I’ve written one of these, so much to tell…

Over the last few weeks there has been a lot going on, let me run you through some of the interesting bits...

I got an X-ray on my spine and I didn’t even have an obvious injury. Why did I get the X-ray then? I have been visiting the fabulous team at ‘Chiro London’ to make sure everything is hunky dory. I have small issues with my neck/shoulders but nothing to worry about, the reason I have been seeing these guys and why I got the X-rays is to be ahead of the game. How many people get X-rays after a long term issue and think “wish I’d known this 5/10/20 years earlier”. I know that my spine is in good condition now, if there were any issues that are present I could get the best advice to prevent, reduce or fix the issues. I’m seeing Dr Sammy to sort one issue she found and I’m really feeling the benefits in combination with the homework exercises she has given me.

On Thursday this week I’m off axe throwing, if you haven’t heard of Whistlepunks then check them out. Basically it’s like going bowling with friends, but it includes throwing sharp steel & winning prizes, what's not to like?

I’ve spent the weekend adulting, I’ve been planning stuff for my wedding and looking at houses. I’m 30 and really want to get on the property ladder. Let’s get on with it David!! After looking at these flats I’m limiting myself to beans on toast to make sure that by the time I’m 40 I can afford one.

Training wise I’ve been sitting on an Assault bike churning out some steady miles, to some good fast beat music. The 24 hour challenge is fast approaching and I need to get some more practice.
My favourite song from my training this week is the old school track from Daft Punk: Harder Better Faster Stronger.

To find out more about the 24 hour challenge we're taking part in at the end of the month check out this page.

Have a great week and make sure you keep up your activity outside of the gym. Non exercise activity can massively help fat loss and health in general. Take the stairs, walk to the shops and don’t be lazy, be the change you want to see.
